Welcome to Cherry Valley Bordoodles and Poodles!
We are a small farm east of Seattle in the Snoqualmie Valley. For the past 14 years, we have worked to build our farmstead where we raise Mangalitsa pork, heritage turkey, Khatadin hair sheep, and the occasional beef. We quickly learned that we needed assistance from working dogs on our farm. Thirteen years ago we acquired our first Border Collie to assist with livestock management. We came to love the intelligence and energy of this amazing breed......the smartest breed on the planet. We have bred a few litters of ABCA registered border collies over the past years. I had always wanted a standard poodle, and my relatives have owned standard poodles for most of my life, so we looked into getting what Josh refers to as his" German water retriever." When a relative who has pet allergies discussed the benefits of Bordoodles, we decided to start breeding this versatile, smart cross. Hence, Cherry Valley Bordoodles was born. We currently have one male standard poodle who is the father of our current Bordoodles. Eventually, we plan on expanding our breeding program to breed F1b Bordoodles. We are excited about the temperament and quiet intelligence of this doodle breed. We take pride in providing quality dogs out of health tested parents.
